Product Care
Waxflower bunches are typically partially bloomed and ready to use after 2 days in water. When received, we suggest giving the stems a 1.5 inch slant cut from the base. Place the stems in 2-3 inches of fresh cool water and condition at room temperature until ready to use. Be sure to repeat every 2-3 days (cut & replace water) & remove any leaves which make contact with water.

Filler-Waxflower Pink

Waxflower is a flowering shrub in the myrtle family, native to Australia. Growing up to six feet in height, the flower releases a sweet scent and the flower’s petals have a waxy feel. There are many varieties of waxflower; we offer purple, pink and white. Pink waxflower starts out pink early in the season and matures to a soft lavender.  They are typically graded as they are picked on the field & sold in approximately 300 gram bunches, which translate to 8-12 stems per bunch.

Temporary pause on Purolator shipments.

Due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, Purolator has been significantly impacted, resulting in service limitations to many parts of Canada.

To ensure the timely and reliable delivery of your orders, Purolator will temporarily be unavailable as a shipping option on Flowers-Direct starting Monday.

We understand this may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause.

If you have an existing order scheduled for delivery via Purolator, we will be contacting you directly to discuss alternative shipping options that best suit your needs.

For all new orders, we recommend selecting UPS or FedEx for prompt and reliable delivery.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will update this notice as soon as Purolator service resumes.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
